The Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta has successfully completed the second session of the Urban Agenda project, an initiative that seeks to define strategies for sustainable and cohesive urban development among the municipalities that make up the supramunicipal institution.
During this second session, technical and professional staff from different areas of the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta worked together to analyse the main problems and challenges facing our cities. This analysis was carried out taking into account the key areas defined by the Strategic Objectives of the Spanish Urban Agenda, ensuring an integrated approach adapted to the needs of the territory.
The activity followed a participatory and collaborative methodology, with co-creation dynamics to identify innovative solutions and effective strategies for the future urban development of the region. In this phase of the project, they focused on:
✅ Diagnosis and characterisation of the urban challenges facing the Ribera Alta.
✅ Collaborative work using participatory methodologies to gather different visions and perspectives.
✅ Focus on co-creation to find effective solutions adapted to the local reality.
With this session, the Association continues to make progress in defining a common territorial strategy that will enable sustainable and balanced growth, always with the active participation of local stakeholders. The conclusions drawn at this stage will be fundamental for the next stages of the project and for achieving a more resilient and liveable territory.
