- Consorci de la Ribera, Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta, Mancomunitat de la Ribera Baixa, Labora, Universitat de València, business federations and trade unions form the Territorial Pact for Employment in the Ribera del Xúquer
- Pater is involved in four strategic sectors for the socio-economic development of the region: career guidance and job search, sustainability (PAS Point), business creation and entrepreneurship (PAS Point), and marketing and digitalisation consulting (PAE Point).
PATER (Territorial Pact for Employment in La Ribera) is a project funded by Labora and developed by the Consorci de la Ribera, within the network of pacts in the Comunitat Valenciana that involves collaboration between public administrations, social and economic agents, as well as other key actors, with the common goal of promoting employment and local development in a participatory and sustainable manner.
The PATER project, which operates in the two Riberas, is celebrating its 20th anniversary, during which time it has expanded its functions and areas of action: promoting labour market integration, employment-oriented training, promoting the business and entrepreneurial fabric, and fostering the economic and social growth of the territory.
Pater currently manages 28 digital service points and 28 sustainability service points in the Ribera de Xúquer region, promoting the reduction of environmental impact and the protection of the natural environment. With the creation of the PAS Point (Sustainability Service Point), unemployed people, workers and companies in the Ribera region now have a public office where they can access and acquire sustainability skills (SDGs).
The PAE Point (Entrepreneurship Support Point) has become an active office that handles all the stages required for any entrepreneurial idea to become a business, from the development of the idea to the one-stop processing of all the necessary procedures for setting up the business.
The PAD Point is a service that assists companies with digitalisation and marketing, promoting and developing strategies and improving the viability of businesses.
Employment guidance and employability, a task promoted since the beginning of the pact, has evolved over the years to become a fundamental tool for all the municipalities that make up the Consorci de la Ribera. At the job fairs held throughout the Ribera de Júcar (E-Talent), a total of 450 participants (unemployed people from the region) have been assisted, achieving a 30% placement rate among participants. More than 300 companies offering employment have been recruited and can benefit from the candidate search service, which demonstrates the value of Pater as a tool for promoting employment.
Over the last twenty years, the spirit of the Pater project has been to serve as a bridge and a space for collaboration between public institutions, private entities and society in order to achieve complete cohesion in the region and strengthen the sense of belonging in the area.
