On Sunday 24 November, the 26th Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta International Open took place in Senyera. A total of 87 players gathered for this now classic event.
A total of 8 rounds were played, with 14 titled players in attendance (including 1 GM and 7 IMs).
The venue was the Senyera Multipurpose Hall, which is very suitable for this type of sporting event. The players expressed their satisfaction to the organisers with the conditions and amenities offered by the venue.
The awards ceremony was presided over by the president of the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta and mayor of Senyera, Paqui Momparler, accompanied by councillors Jesús Esteve (Environment) and Xelo Momparler (Social Welfare).
