The Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta has awarded the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta Honorary Award to the Regulatory Council of the Kaki de la Ribera Designation of Origin
The president of the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta, Paqui Momparler Orta, presented the award in its 17th edition, together with the mayor of l’Alcúdia, Andreu Salom Porta.
The award coincides with the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Kaki de la Ribera designation of origin, which has experienced remarkable growth and evolution, both nationally and internationally, becoming a benchmark thanks to all those involved in the sector.
Since 2007, this award has been given to individuals and organisations in different fields that are relevant to the social, cultural and economic development of the Ribera region. This year’s ceremony was held at the Casa de la Cultura in l’Alcúdia.
