The Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta is strengthening its commitment to helping young people find employment with a new edition of the EMPUJU programme. Thanks to a grant from Labora, the institution has hired 19 people under the age of 30 who were unemployed and registered as job seekers with Labora and the Sistema Nacional de Garantía Juvenil.
EMPUJU is a grant programme managed by the Directorate-General of Labora Valencian Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the European Union through the Youth Employment Operational Programme, aimed at the recruitment of young people by local entities, within the framework of the Sistema Nacional de Garantía Juvenil.
The final destination of these grants and subsidies is the hiring of young people under the age of 30 by local councils and associations of municipalities in the Valencian Community, as well as their autonomous bodies or other related or dependent entities.
The profiles that reinforce the Mancomunitat’s workforce are as follows: Senior technician in web application development, Degree in Document Management and Archiving, Senior technician in multimedia application development, Senior technician in image and sound, Loading and unloading assistant, Degree in Journalism, Veterinary assistant, Degree in Tourism, Senior technician in environmental education and control, Senior technician in administration and finance, and Degree in Law.
Those who have benefited from the EMPUJU programme joined the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta in September on a full-time basis for a period of 10 months.
