The NEXT DOOR project, in which the Consorci de la Ribera participates as a partner, has been named a Best Practice by the European Union. The project began in September 2020 and ended on 31 August 2023.
This designation means:
- Approval of the final report
- High praise for the good work carried out during the three years of the project
The main objective of the project has been to promote social capital within municipalities, encouraging the protection of older people to increase their self-esteem and quality of life.
Activities aimed at older people have been carried out and a platform has been created to highlight these events. Training material has also been developed for professionals working with this group.
