The Go Zero project continues its activities

Through the Go Zero project, the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta continues to work towards better waste management in the agri-food sector.

The aim of the Go Zero (Zero Waste Management in Food Sector) project is to analyse, raise awareness and train professionals and companies on the opportunities for integrated waste management and the efficient application of zero waste. The training content is expected to use an approach based on pollution prevention, offering an overview of various environmentally-oriented activities in business. The scope of the project will cover external and internal reuse options – repair, reflection and reduction of an integrated waste management system with the main objective of efficient zero waste implementation.

This project has 9 partners from 6 countries. The applicant organisation is the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanisation. The Directorate of Istanbul (TR), Boğaziçi University (TR), ENAİP Lombardia (IT), Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta, MANRA (ES), Mitja Creativa (ES), University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LVA) in Latvia, Exponential Training & Assessment Limited (United Kingdom) and the Kaunas Food Industry and Trade Training Centre (LT) are partners in the project.
