This morning, the III Ribera de Xúquer Cycle Tourism Conference was held at the Julián Ribera Tarragó Municipal Public Library in Carcaixent, with a large turnout of members of the public and professionals from the sector. The event, organised by the Consorci de la Ribera, served to promote the Camí Natural Antic Trenet Carcaixent-Dénia as a hub for tourism and socio-economic development in the region.
Throughout the morning, there were inspiring presentations, success stories about greenways in Spain, and enriching debates with companies from the cycle tourism sector and representatives from the municipalities involved in this restoration project. The conference was opened by local authorities and closed by Paqui Momparler Orta, president of the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta, who highlighted the strategic role of cycle tourism in the sustainable development of the region.
